It looks nice. It is steel, probably. The handle is wood and the hand guard say plastic but they could be aluminum. Feel like a metal to me. The Damascus is not real. You didn't think it was for $150 did you? It is laser etched on the blade with I suspect a fiber laser. It is quite heavy and it is VERY VERY SHARP. No joke. You will cut yourself, loved one or pet if you are not careful opening the sword for the first time. The scbbard is a 2 out of 5 but woks. The hardware is the cheapest available but leather is thicker and stiff. I was goi g to give it a 3 but I do like it and its price is at the costume sword category. But its better and as i said, feels like a sword and sharp This will do some damage before it snaps.Glad I purchased it!

The hilt was nice and solid and the sheath adequate for what it is. A barrier to keep you from killing yourself with this thing. The blade is beautiful and perfect.
